As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Graduate Mechanical Estimator to join a very busy growing team to work out of out Birmingham office.

Job Brief:

We are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Estimator to assist with the estimation of commercial mechanical related tenders. The ideal candidate should be analytical and have strong numerical skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity within the mechanical trades, materials and their costs would be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation of Tenders by analysing proposals and requirements. Assist in preparing sub-contractor enquiries for various mechanical trades. Gathering and analysing quotations to make sure they cover the specification and drawings with the Senior Mechanical Estimator. Support in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and proposals in Microsoft Excel. Participate in the evaluation of sub-contractors and supplier quotations. Assist in maintaining and updating our approved sub-contractors and supplier's database.

Qualifications:

Relevant mechanical degree. Previous experience within the industry is advantageous. Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft office applications. Excellent numerical skills
