Graduate Nursery Assistant



Ten10Talent have partnered with a Nursery School who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Nursery Assistant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they need to thrive.

We have our own pedagogical approach and a research lab, where we are actively involved in research projects, which we try to then bring into the nursery practice, so I guess we are looking for a candidate who is interested in child development and how children learn. A team player and someone who is contentious and understands the responsibility of looking after young children.

They are looking for someone with either a

BA in Early Childhood Education

or

EYTS

or

QTS

(Salary flexible depending on experience)

Duties



Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development and learning. Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support children in their daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene. Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the nursery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, including toys and equipment. Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with senior staff as necessary.

Requirements



Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable but we offer training Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage groups of children with patience and leadership qualities. A genuine love for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations within the nursery setting. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: 97.68-160.00 per day
