Role Summary

As a Commercial Pharmacist Graduate joining our Pharma divisions, you will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of commercial functions. These include strategic areas such as sales and marketing, digital innovation, insights and analytics, consumer behaviour, lifecycle management, launch excellence for new therapeutic assets, pricing and market access, competitive brand strategy, business development, financial planning, and commercial modelling. Our programme is designed to build capabilities that extend beyond traditional commercial roles--fostering innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. This comprehensive exposure will equip you with the commercial acumen and cross-functional expertise required to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing

Support brand strategy and promotional campaigns. Engage with healthcare professionals to understand market needs. Assist in product positioning and messaging.

Digital & Technology

Contribute to digital transformation initiatives. Use digital tools to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Insights & Analytics

Analyse market data to identify trends and opportunities. Support decision-making through evidence-based insights

Consumer Marketing & Lifecycle Innovation

Assist in managing products throughout their lifecycle. Contribute to innovation strategies for mature and new products.

Launch Excellence

Support planning and execution of new product launches. Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure launch readiness

Pricing & Market Access

Assist in developing pricing strategies and reimbursement models. Support health economics and value proposition development.

Competitive Brand Strategy

Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking. Contribute to strategic planning to enhance brand positioning.

Business Development

Identify partnership and growth opportunities. Support evaluation of new markets, products, or acquisitions.

Finance & Commercial Modelling

Assist in financial forecasting and budget planning. Develop commercial models to assess product viability and ROI.

Skills Requirements

Qualified pharmacist (GPhC registered) Bachelors Degree in a Healthcare/Pharmacy related qualification. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic areas, and healthcare systems. Desirable to have previous commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry Track record of influencing and negotiating with healthcare stakeholders Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills High performer who thrives both independently and in a team environment
