We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate PLC and Controls Engineer for our well-established and expanding business that is willing to travel across the UK working with our existing team on new and existing Amazon sites on large conveyor systems but also be comfortable working in our workshop commissioning and testing PLC Control panels.

The Role:

As Graduate Software Engineer you will be learning about all areas of software development particularly Siemens TIA and Win CC & will be working with other software engineers

Typical Duties within the role:

PLC & HMI programming of control systems from given designs (customer URS). Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation (FDS/FAT/SAT) Become competent on ePlan 8 Electrical design Software Installation, configuration, and testing work at customer sites. Independently solve problems that are outside of your knowledge Be prepared to travel within the UK for site integration & commissioning work Willing to work overtime as requested by the company

The Person: Skills & Experience Required

Engineering related or appropriate engineering qualification (degree/HNC/HND) or comparable industrial experience. Good client facing skills, must be able to work as part of combined client / contractor team Willingness to travel and work away Full UK Drivers Licence

Salary & Benefits:

23k- 25k pa starting Salary (based on experience and qualifications) The basic working week is 40 hours (Mon - Fri) The standard working hours are 08:00 -16:30 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays O/T up to 1.5 where applicable Remote Amazon Software cover available with additional renumeration

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
