Job Description


Chemistry or Chemical Engineering graduate required to join a busy technical team focussing on the analysis of processed material and products. In addition to providing analytical support for the operations team and developing improved analysis techniques there will be a strong focus on providing practical support to the production team and assisting in projects as required.

Key duties:

Develop improved analysis techniques for the company products.

Propose new methods of materials analysis as and when appropriate, these should be supported by verifiable SOP\xe2\x80\x99s.

Work as part of the manufacturing team to fully understand process and how the machines operate.

Identify opportunities for analytical improvements.

Maintain analytical equipment, using external resources as necessary.

When required provide practical support for projects.

Prepare formal process reports as requested.

Candidate

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant subject.

Some industry experience in manufacturing / process development would be an advantage but full training will be given to the right person.

Opportunity for someone to use their Chemistry knowledge to help drive innovation.

This is a hands-on role leading on to Process Engineer level within the company.
