This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers while building skills in estimating, project management, and customer communication.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting commercial and production teams with cost estimates and quotations. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to understand customer requirements. Analysing machining times, materials, and tooling costs. Building knowledge of

CNC vs. manual machining

, and the differences between

milling and turning

. Communicating directly with

clients and customers

, providing updates and technical insight. Working with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery. Contributing to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
What We're Looking For

A

degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering

(or related discipline). Strong understanding of basic machining principles. Confident communicator -- both written and verbal -- comfortable dealing with customers. Motivated, organised, and eager to progress within a precision engineering environment. Keen to learn and develop in a role that combines technical and commercial responsibility.
