About the Role:
You will work closely with pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. These roles offer hands-on experience in a supportive school environment, ideal for those considering careers in:
Educational Psychology
Speech & Language Therapy
Clinical Psychology
SEN Teaching
Child Mental Health Services
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
Assist with classroom activities and behaviour management
Support emotional regulation and social development
Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs
Requirements:
A degree in Psychology (or related field)
A genuine interest in SEN and child development
Strong communication and empathy skills
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
