About Us

Keencut Ltd is a leading designer and manufacturer of precision cutting equipment, supplying customers worldwide from our base in Corby. As a small but innovative company, we take pride in our engineering excellence, customer service, and close-knit team culture.

We're now looking for a motivated Graduate Purchasing Assistant to join our team and support our procurement and supply chain operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who's eager to build a career in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.

The Role

Working closely with our Operation Director, you'll assist with day-to-day procurement activities, supplier communication, and stock control. You'll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of purchasing within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and services Maintain accurate supplier and product information Support order processing, tracking, and delivery scheduling Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery or quality issues Work with internal teams (production, design, and sales) to ensure materials are available when needed Help identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvement

About You

We're looking for someone enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn. You'll be comfortable communicating with suppliers and colleagues alike and enjoy problem-solving.

Essential Skills and Attributes

A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Excellent communication and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) Willingness to learn and develop professionally
