Jess says

"'I started working at The Winston Churchill School as an English tutor, which I loved as I learnt the curriculum, learnt the Winston way of teaching and built relationships with children.
When the opportunity came to train here, I jumped at the chance! It is such a supportive environment; I learn something new every day and I feel lucky to work in a place that develops autonomy in children and allows staff the freedom to encourage that in their classroom.

Dan says

"This route really worked for me! Owning my own lessons and classes, it allowed me to take control of a classroom from Day 1 and to learn and develop my practise while on the job.

Embedded in the department I was supported by more than just my mentor and I'm in no doubt that

I wouldn't have the career progression I have now if I had taken another route."

Check out our website and the Head's Blog; Winston is an inspirational school and it will

support you to become an outstanding teacher.

Still not sure, then come and visit our school, we would love to show you around. You can
