  • Graduate Science Technician
  • Full-time, long-term role beginning from September 2023 - running for the full academic year

  • Assist in the running of lab-based Science lessons across all year groups

Their curriculum challenges the gifted and talented students as well as providing enhanced teaching for those with special educational and complex learning needs.

As a Graduate Science Technician, you will be tasked with delivering essential scientific services and support within school laboratory settings. The role involves the setting up and putting away of laboratory equipment for school lessons across Physics, Chemistry and Biology. You will work under the Senior Science Technician who will provide support and guidance throughout the day. It is important that you follow health and safety procedures that the school has in place for use of lab equipment. As part of the role, you will also get the opportunity to work with students to provide them with support during lab lessons in a Teaching Assistant role - ensuring they have a full of understanding of what their outcomes from experiments are.

This school is located near Birkenhead, easily commutable by public transport from all areas of the Wirral as well as central Liverpool. It is a Monday-Friday role, working school hours which are 8.45am \xe2\x80\x93 3.45pm.
