primary school in Hove

is seeking a

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

to join their supportive team immediately.

You'll be working closely with pupils who have

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

including autism, ADHD and speech & language difficulties helping them engage with learning, build confidence and achieve their potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain

hands-on classroom experience

before pursuing a

PGCE

,

Educational Psychology

or

Therapy

pathway.

Key Responsibilities



Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management Help implement

EHCP targets

and

behaviour support strategies

Encourage engagement through creative, tailored learning activities Foster positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents Create a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:



Be a

recent graduate

(2:1 or above preferred) in

Psychology, Education, English, Sociology

or a related subject Have a genuine passion for

supporting children with SEN

Be

patient, empathetic

and confident in building rapport with young learners Show

initiative, creativity

and enthusiasm for classroom life Be

reliable, proactive

and eager to learn from experienced staff Have

experience supporting children

(voluntary, personal or professional)
