What You'll Be Doing
As a Graduate Software Developer, you'll:
Design, build, and test features across the full stack using Java-based MVC frameworks (like Play Framework or Spring Boot)
Maintain and enhance existing applications and infrastructure
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver working solutions
Support users and handle tickets with a customer-first mindset
Participate in code reviews and help maintain high coding standards
Contribute ideas to improve processes, tooling, and the products themselves
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who's curious, motivated, and ready to start their career in software development. Ideally, you'll have:
Must-haves:
A degree in Computer Science or a related field
Problem-solving mindset and good communication skills
A team player with a can-do attitude
Nice-to-haves (but not essential):
Java or similar OO programming experience
Experience with any of the following: Spring Boot, Play Framework, Groovy, Thymeleaf, HTMX, HTML/CSS/JS
Exposure to SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Git, and Linux/macOS environments
Knowledge of Agile practices and version control workflows (pull requests, branching, code reviews)
Any experience with AWS, CI/CD, Docker, or working with customer support systems
