Ever wondered what it's like to be at the front of a classroom?

This role gives you the chance to lead lessons, manage behaviour and support learning, all without the planning or marking that comes with teaching.

We're working with two secondary schools in Eastbourne looking for confident, adaptable people who can hold a room and keep pupils on track.

You'll step in when teachers are absent, follow prepared lesson plans, and make sure learning continues, whether that's in English, PE or Science. Every day is different!

What you'll do:

Supervise classes when teachers are absent (no planning or marking). Support students aged 11-16 and manage classroom behaviour calmly. Work across subjects - every day is different.

This role suits:

Graduates considering teacher training. Ex-forces, sports coaches, TEFL teachers, or youth workers. Anyone confident speaking to groups and building rapport quickly. Anyone who has worked as a teaching assistant, classroom support, unqualified teacher or as a behaviour mentor and looking to lead within the classroom would transition perfectly into this role

Details:

Regular work, term-time only (8.30am-3.30pm). Paid classroom experience as a
