Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant for our School, starting in September 2025 or January 2026. This is a fixed-term contract, for 12 months and working during term time. We are looking for a post-graduate student, who would like to start their career in teaching. Other roles and responsibilities are to include:

Boarding House duties during the week, evenings and weekends Classroom Assistance in both Pre-Prep and Prep. Full participation in the co-curricular programme at the school Coaching and running teams as appropriate Running or assisting with after school clubs and extra-curricular activities as appropriate Team teaching and assisting experienced subject teachers in classroom situations in a variety of subject areas

Accommodation and food during term time only are provided without charge. The post requires a full commitment during term time.
