The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll be a key presence in the classroom - encouraging learning, promoting independence, and helping pupils reach their potential both academically and emotionally. No two days are the same, and every interaction offers the chance to have an impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with SEND one-to-one, in small groups, or within the classroom
Working with teaching and therapy staff to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
Encouraging positive behaviour, social interaction, and emotional development
Adapting to pupil needs and using initiative to overcome barriers to learning
Building meaningful relationships that help children feel safe, understood, and confident
Who You Are
This role suits graduates who are:
Studying or qualified in Psychology, Education, Health and Social Care, Childhood Studies, or a related field (other degrees considered)
Patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure
Keen to learn from experienced educators and take on new challenges

If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position but long term. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available.
