Bytronic is a specialist vision engineering company delivering bespoke, high-performance inspection and automation solutions. We work closely with customers to translate complex requirements into robust, commercially viable engineering systems -- combining practical engineering with clear communication and disciplined delivery.
As we grow, we're looking for a commercially minded Graduate Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen our front-end engineering capability and support the sales process from first enquiry through to project handover. This role is ideal for a strong graduate or early-career engineer with commercial ambition who enjoys shaping solutions, creating polished technical proposals, and helping win work.

in a small, specialist engineering business.

high-quality technical proposals
to support the sales process.

technical, delivery, and commercial risk
, including mitigations and alternatives.
Technical Development & Validation
Coordinate
lab work and proof-of-concept testing
to validate proposed solutions.

Confirm feasibility prior to order placement -- technically, operationally, and commercially.
Engineering Handover & Project Setup
Once an order is placed, manage the
technical setup
from an engineering definition perspective.
Confirm the final solution definition, ensuring alignment between
sales commitments
, engineering delivery, and commercial terms.
Support internal handover by producing clear requirements, drawings/visuals, and technical notes.
Visuals, Standards & Content Creation
Produce or coordinate supporting
CAD, diagrams, illustrations, and animations
for proposals and marketing collateral.
