Busy firm of corporate Insolvency Practitioners looking for enthusiastic graduates with an Accountancy, Finance or Business-related degree to join our friendly, bright and forward-thinking team.
Candidates must be hardworking, focused, good team-players and able to work to deadlines.
Key Roles
You will support the Insolvency Managers in the administration and progression of our varied portfolio of corporate cases.
With full study support you will be given the opportunity to study ACCA qualifications, as well as receiving in-house training.
Your responsibilities will include:
Compliance with anti-money laundering legislation
Setting up new cases on our case management system and preparing relevant paperwork and reports for corporate insolvencies
Dealing with client correspondence and phone calls
Preparing investigation reports and detailing any antecedent transactions or other breaches of legislation
Liaising with solicitors, valuers, accountants, banks, HMRC, company directors and The Insolvency Service
Handling claims from creditors and assisting with distributions to creditors
Dealing with notices to Registrar of Companies, statutory advertisements and reports to creditors
Completing and submitting post-insolvency VAT and corporation tax returns
Preparing documents for cash-book receipts and payments
Reviewing incoming invoices and arranging necessary payments.

Skills Required
2:1 or higher degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business-related degree or similar
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good IT skills
Able to work individually and as part of a team
Proactive and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in insolvency and restructuring.
