As a Graduate Trainee Art Teacher, you'll be part of a school-based programme that combines real classroom experience with expert training and mentoring. This fully funded route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) allows you to earn while you learn, with no tuition fees and one-on-one support throughout the year.
The Graduate Trainee Art Teacher programme includes:

• Full-time salaried training position (24,921 per annum)
• Four days per week in school, one day per week for study and professional development
• Support from experienced Art and Design teachers and access to excellent facilities
• Personalised mentoring and ongoing CPD
• QTS awarded by July 2026

Who we're looking for:
To be eligible for the Graduate Trainee Art Teacher role, you must:

• Hold (or be predicted) a 2:1 or above in Art, Fine Art, Design, Illustration, or a closely related subject
• Be passionate about art education and working with young people
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be resilient, creative, and eager to learn
• Please note: visa sponsorship is not available for this role
