Cardington Joinery (part of Hardy Building Solutions) specialises in
heritage and conservation joinery
across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. We work on period properties, listed buildings, and high-end bespoke projects.We're looking for a talented
graduate web developer and content creator
to help grow our online presence and showcase our craftsmanship online.The Role
You'll be responsible for:
Website development & updates
(mainly Wix; some WordPress/HTML/CSS knowledge a bonus)Content creation
: writing engaging web copy, blog posts, case studies, and project galleriesSEO optimisation
: ensuring pages rank well on Google with the right keywords & metadataGoogle Business Profile management
: uploading photos, posts, and encouraging reviewsSocial media content
(basic posts showing before/after projects, video snippets)Basic graphic design/photo editing
for use across the website and socialsAbout You
A recent graduate (IT, Web Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or similar) Comfortable with website builders (Wix, WordPress) and basic coding (HTML/CSS) Strong writing skills with an eye for detail and ability to match brand voice Interest in
heritage, conservation, or design
is a big plus Knowledge of SEO basics (keywords, titles, image alt tags, backlinks) Creative, organised, and eager to take ownership of projectsCall-To-Action
