Graduate/ School leaver - Finance Assistant - ROX

Location:

Head Office, Glasgow

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (office-based)

Salary:

20,000 - 24,000 per annum (including study support).

Purpose of Role

To provide accurate day-to-day processing of financial information, supporting the Finance Manager, Buying Team, and wider Head Office staff to ensure the smooth running of ROX's operations. You will be working closely with the finance manager and be pushed to continuously evolve with the company as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices, match to POs/delivery notes, and code to correct ledgers in Sage 50 (Multi-site operation) Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and credit control Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash Assist with VAT returns and support compliance submissions Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and month-end tasks Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice/payment queries Maintain organised financial records in a paperless system

Skills & Experience

Good Excel skills preferable with training on systems provided High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Strong communication and eagerness to learn

Qualifications

Graduates and School leavers welcome to apply - this is a training role and all relevant experience considered. Full hands-on training to be provided in house when the candidate starts and study support will be offered.
