Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with the derivatives desk of one of the worlds largest grains brokers looking to expand their team in London. Currently looking for a broker with clients within Grains and Oilseeds.
Must have a transferable portfolio of business of listed/OTC products.
Responsibilities:

• Execute trades for corporate or institutional clients across electronic/voice brokerage within the agriculture space
• Negotiate deals with clients and facilitate execution business across exotics and vanilla contracts
• Develop business for both OTC and exchange traded products within grains and oilseeds
• Develop futures and options Ags business, advising clients on most profitable trading opportunities
• Inform clients of industry news/movement by maintaining sound market knowledge across Agriculture

Experience:

• Senior broker generating business and servicing clients throughout oilseeds/grains (wheat, corn, soybean, rice) sector
• Generating at least 500,000GBP revenue of transferable business
• Experienced servicing clients across exotic and vanilla contracts
• Looking for book of electronic execution business among agricultural products/voice execution business across block options
• Excellent understanding of how an exchange operates (CBOT, MATIF, CME)
• Able to commute to London office
