Granite and Quartz Worktop Installer/Fitter (Livingston, Scotland)
Job description
Midland Stone Centre Ltd are looking for a Granite and Quartz Installer to join our busy and growing installations team. We are a key supplier to the kitchen/bathroom trade of stone worksurfaces, walling, flooring, and related products. The position advertised is for a Granite and Quartz Installer to travel between job sites, in order to install the specially prepared stonework to a high standard meeting customers' expectation. You will be working within the installations team, where you will gain the knowledge of this interesting and varied industry. The successful candidate will be required to work well alongside other trades on site and be able to liaise with customers in a polite, professional manner.
The ideal candidate will:
Be punctual, polite, and professional
Have a keen eye for detail
Numerate
Have had some experience working on detailed finished product
Be a good problem solver with a can-do attitude
Be in possession of a full UK driving license
Willing to travel
This position is for a hardworking, self-motivated individual who works well in a team. The company is based near Kettering, but work is nationwide. This position is for the Scotland branch and is based out of the Livingston/Kinglassie area and covers Scotland/North England. There are some early starts and late finishes.
Experience in the kitchen industry will stand candidates in good stead as will individuals who have spent time as carpenters/joiners or shopfitters.
Full training provided. Job involves handling of heavy and delicate finished work.
Full UK Driving License required (Licence checks will be completed)
From 30,000 per year , higher rates available dependant on experience.
Job Type: Full-time. Minimum hours 39 per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime available. (OTE 35-45k including overtime and performance bonus)
