As the Grants and Fundraising Officer, you will play a pivotal role in securing vital income to support Coquet Trust's mission. You will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive grants and fundraising strategy aligned with our organisational goals and values. Working closely with the Head of Business Development and other colleagues, you will ensure all fundraising activities are innovative, impactful, and rooted in the ethos of person-centred support. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating positive change through effective income generation.

We are looking for someone with experience to develop, manage, and deliver a plan for income generation through bidding for grants and fundraising.
You would be responsible for:
Leading the management, development and maintenance of the grant pipeline
Identifying opportunities for funding
Provide advice and support on grant terms and conditions to managers
Research available funding options and agree priorities
Present reports and proposals to senior colleagues
Contribute to external content on our website and social media
Work with the Innovation and Development Manager on wider fundraising and tendering activity.
What we need from you:
- Excellent written English and the ability to write high quality funding applications
- Experience of bid writing for grants, and/or fundraising applications
- Project Management experience
- Ability to work across teams, liaise with other professionals and maintain effective working relationships
- Understanding of bids and fundraising application processes
- Research skills and experience
- The ability to work autonomously, implementing new processes and managing conflicting priorities.
