About Aberlour Children's Charity
Aberlour is one of the largest Scottish children's charities, celebrating 150 years helping to improve the lives of Scotland's disadvantaged children and young people. At Aberlour we know that not all children are born with an equal chance. Together, we will be brave for children, young people and families and will overcome poverty, disadvantage and discrimination.
Aberlour's mission is to reach Scotland's disadvantaged children as early as possible to stop damage being done, before families reach crisis point, before it's too late. Taking action quickly, significantly improves long-term outcomes for children and young people.
Aberlour Children's Charity has, over the past 5 years, almost doubled in size. Our brand awareness has grown significantly as have our services (we have around 60 throughout Scotland) as well as our fundraising and campaigning activity. Marketing and communications support is more important than ever.
What we are looking for....
We are looking for a Graphic Design Marketing Intern who will support with designing and creating digital and printed materials, aligned with Aberlour's brand identity and guidelines. You will help build the brand identity and awareness of the charity, promoting our services and activities to key target audiences.
We are looking for a creative person with a good eye for detail who is wishing to gain real life experience to pursue a career in graphic design. You will have a keen interest in designing branded materials, engaging graphics and content to raise awareness of our work throughout Scotland.
You will be in your finals year of study in a relevant graphic design, marketing or digital marketing course.
You will work well in a team and enjoy the opportunity to test and learn from the projects you are involved in.
You will work 15 hours per week, over two days. These hours will be planned and worked from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. There may be an occasion where you may be asked to work out with these hours e.g. to support with events.
At Aberlour we strive to make sure every child and young person has the love, support, and opportunity they need to reach their potential. If you share the same vision, we want you to join our team. To have a look at our values to understand more about what we are looking for from our employees
