Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Graphic Designer based in Cross Hands.Main Duties and Responsibilities:We're looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our busy marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident creative thinker with a passion for design, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to lead on visual direction while working both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.You'll be at the heart of Castell Howell's brand and marketing activity, playing a leading role in shaping how we visually communicate across channels. From concept to final artwork, you'll take the lead on a variety of design projects - including menus, campaign visuals, event collateral. Your experience and creative judgement will help push our design output to the next level. This full-time role, based at our Cross Hands office, is ideal for a mid to senior-level designer ready to take more ownership and make a real impact. There is plenty of opportunity for creative input and career progression. You'll be hands-on from concept through to execution. Fast cycles, fast decisions, high expectations.Key responsibilities:Graphic Design: Lead in the design and production of various marketing materials such as menus, magazines, brochures, flyers, banners, social media posts, and advertisements.Digital Design: Create engaging digital content including website graphics, email templates, social media visuals and presentations.Software Proficiency: Be comfortable in using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) and other relevant design tools.Image Editing: Sourcing and editing images for brochures, magazines and online.Collaboration: Work as part of the wider team to ensure consistency of quality and deliver to deadlines.Brand Adherence: Work within different brand styles to deliver work with the correct look and feel for each project.Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.What We're Looking For:Experience in a creative or design studio environment.A strong, versatile portfolio demonstrating brand-led thinking and high-end execution.Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)Confident communicator with the ability to present and defend ideas.Passion for design, trends and pushing creative boundaries.Someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment, you'll never have to wait for a brief, the briefs are flowing.About you:Have a passion for brand and design with a constant desire to strive for the best. A deep understanding of design principles with the ability to create visually compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.Enthusiasm for creating 360 campaigns from brief to delivery and beyond.Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing business demands at short notice.Able to multi-task across a number of work streams and deliver to deadlines.An exceptional design eye for detail, with the ability to ensure every design element is perfectly executed and aligned with the overall creative vision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly to both internal teams and clients.Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing a wide range of projects with varying deadlines.What we offer:A full-time position working Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 (37.5 hours).A competitive salary based on experience. 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.5% Company contribution pension scheme.Generous discounted staff purchase scheme - save money on your weekly food shop.Perkbox - Benefits & Rewards platform.Free onsite parking.Additional Information:Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.DBS check required.Castell Howell is a member of the Armed Forces Covenant and encourages applications from veterans.
