As a Graphic Designer in our design team at Group 1, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our company, bringing to life marketing campaigns and creative ideas and adapting OEM assets tailored to company requirements. From creating event materials and promotional campaigns, social and digital assets, internal comms and customer facing materials, you'll collaborate closely with our marketing, social and comms team to create engaging designs that drive awareness and consistency across the brands you work with. You'll have great attention to detail, passionate about design with a focused, positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.

What you'll do day to day




Designing visual assets and marketing material.


Managing graphic designs from conception to delivery.


Ensuring brand consistency throughout various marketing projects and promotes the vision of the company through high-quality graphic content.


Ensure all projects are executed within timelines and schedules.


Liaising between the marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.


Keeping up to date with industry developments.


The design and production of marketing material and assets.


Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts in line with our target audience.


Ensure the presentation of a strong and consistent brand image across all visual representation/marketing activity.


Monitor artwork quality, accuracy, and consistency, whilst maintaining OEM standards.


Creation of digital design work, including digital ads, assets for social media platforms and emailers.


Create visual designs that effectively communicate concepts and brand identity, as well as the design and production of layouts, colour palettes, iconography, typography and the creation of style guides.


Liaise directly with the Legal/Compliance team, when required.


Liaise directly with external print suppliers in obtaining print quotations based on the client's requirement.


Helpful skills and qualifications

2+ years' experience as a graphic designer (inhouse preferred but not essential. Creative flair and attention to detail. Proactive can-do attitude. Ability to work to a schedule and deliver tight turnarounds. Proven experience of designing for print, web and digital. Adobe CS proficient, in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Ability to work in HTML/CSS an advantage, but not essential. Good understanding of creative visual principles such as typography, layout, colour theory and brand identity Portfolio with design projects. Proven work experience as a graphic designer. A keen eye for visual details. Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.
