Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team for three working days a week (Total of 24 hours a week). Paramount Creative Scotland's leading marketing and events company now requires additional support in our design department. We are looking for someone with flare for design with a good level of speed and experience of preparing files for print.

The successful individual may be back in the work place after taking time out or requires an element of flexibility allowing time to juggle family life within this role.

Working in a busy events, design and print business in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire your role would be to provide support to the events team, producing social media banners, designing adverts and menus for our clients. It's a varied role and we are looking for someone who has experience working with Adobe, In-design and other design software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for creating compelling designs that effectively communicate our brand and our customers brands, across various platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of marketing principles to produce high-quality digital and print materials.

Responsibilities

Develop and design branding materials, including logos, brochures, and promotional graphics. Collaborate with the events team to produce visually appealing content for campaigns. Utilise Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create stunning graphics. Design for events throughout the annual year Stay updated on industry trends to bring fresh ideas into the design process.

Skills

Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Knowledge of web design principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be of advantage Familiarity with branding strategies and marketing concepts. A solid understanding of digital design trends and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
