Job Description

Graphic Designer needed for an iconic children's books company. You will work with some of the world's best storytellers and creative minds- bringing the stories to life through your creative design solutions. You will be responsible for design / creative across a range of areas including brand partnerships, marketing, publishing, social media and more, using a number of visual approaches. Based on site in London's West End- 5 days a week - 6 months contract. 200 per day. Publishing experienced desired.
Key duties:
-Brainstorm initial ideas and carry them through to concept development
-Be the lead creative on a particular project. This requires you to have creative, design, project and relationship skills
-Guideline, style guide and art pack development
-Toolkit creation (esp for Marketing, Publishing and Theatre teams)
-Create highly innovative product concepts and mock-ups
-Create high-spec Google Slides presentations across departments sometimes on tight turnaround
Skills:
- Have at least 3 - 5 years' experience working as a designer
-Be an extremely confident and capable designer, a craftsperson, with an eye for detail as well as understanding of the bigger picture
-Someone who elevates and benchmarks a high creative standard for themselves
-Be ready to lead and execute design projects, from concept to delivery
-Be comfortable working within brand guidelines, but have the skillset and confidence to think creatively and expand guidelines where needed
