RTI Health Solutions (RTIHS) is seeking an experienced graphic designer with medical communications experience to join our growing team\xe2\x80\x94and you might be just the right person!
You\xe2\x80\x99ll be adept at collaborating on a broad range of RTI-HS and client-branded creative projects. You\xe2\x80\x99ll use creativity, problem-solving, and visual storytelling to effectively communicate scientific content for a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize Technical Content for Scientific Publications and Communications
    • Actively conceptualize technical content to robustly support the development of materials for scientific publications and communications
    • Collaborate seamlessly with researchers and fellow designers to skillfully translate complex healthcare research into engaging visual communication
    • Work closely with project teams to craft conceptual figures and diagrams that precisely convey the intended messaging
  • Create a wide array of deliverables for our clients, from concept to production to delivery
    • Design and format captivating presentations, ranging from interactive PPTs to PDFs and eLearning modules
    • Redesign charts, graphs, tables, and art to ensure a consistently compelling visual experience
    • Create infographics and data visualisations
    • Design and layout scientific conference posters
    • Contribute to the creation of web-based dashboards and microsites
  • Adhere to Brand and Identity Guidelines
    • Understand and implement the proper use of brand and identity guidelines for both internal corporate materials and external client branding
    • Uphold the design quality and brand identity in the development of all project material
  • Manage internal/external client relations and development of design projects
    • Schedule project/graphic requests to ensure that internal deadlines are met and ensure the timely completion of design projects
    • Communicate with project teams to alert them of budget and scheduling changes / Communicate transparently with project teams to alert them of any budget and scheduling changes
    • Handle multiple concurrent projects adeptly, thriving under pressure and deadlines
  • Keep abreast of graphics-related technology and implement into projects
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of department operations
    • Stay abreast of the latest graphics-related technology and seamlessly implement advancements into projects

Qualifications
  • Degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years graphic design experience
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Graphic Design and Branding principles
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Proven experience in designing materials that effectively convey medical and scientific concepts
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide diplomatic and constructive comments to external and internal clients
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize workloads and make strategic decisions when faced with competing needs, including a willingness to seek support from the team
  • Adept at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, with a focus on collaboration within the Medical Writing, Editing, and Design Services (MEDS) team
  • Displays the ability to effectively cater to a diverse customer base, adapting working styles to accommodate a variety of personalities and needs
