As JBM continues to grow, we're expanding our creative team with a talented Graphic Designer who is passionate about music, culture, and visual storytelling.
The Role
As Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the head of design and marketing teams to create visually striking assets across all JBM festivals, club nights, and event brands. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in producing artwork for digital campaigns, social content, websites, festival signage, merchandise, and print.
You will help shape the visual identity of some of the UK's fastest-growing festivals and be encouraged to bring new ideas, style, and creativity into the team.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality graphics and artwork for festivals, concerts, and club events
Produce digital assets for social media, websites, advertising, email marketing, and paid campaigns
Adapt artwork into multiple formats and sizes for use across campaign channels
Assist in developing brand identities and maintain visual consistency across all platforms
Create social media content including static designs, motion pieces, stories, and reels
Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-impact visuals that drive ticket sales and engagement
Retouch and edit images for use across promotional materials
Prepare artwork for print including posters, flyers, banners, signage, and on-site branding
Support merchandise design and create product mock-ups
Stay up to date with design trends relevant to festivals, nightlife, and contemporary culture
Assist the wider creative team during busy campaign periods and onsite event weekends
What We're Looking For
A creative designer with a passion for music, festivals, and visual culture
A portfolio that showcases strong typography, layout skills, branding, and creativity
Ability to work in a fast-paced studio environment with multiple deadlines
Strong understanding of colour, composition, and visual communication
Ability to take direction while bringing original ideas to the table
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
Confident communicator with a positive, collaborative attitude
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar (preferred but not essential)
1+ year design experience (freelance, in-house, agency, or university projects)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Experience with motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a bonus
Experience preparing artwork for print is desirable
Work Arrangement
This is an on-site position based at our Manchester City Centre office. Travel to festivals, event sites, and production days may be required.
Hybrid working may be considered after probation.
