In-House Graphic Designer

to join our team at our Paignton office.

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-orientated Graphic Designer to support our marketing team and help grow our brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of branding and digital design, social media experience, and the ability to bring fresh ideas to our campaigns. This role requires proficiency in multiple design tools and an eye for detail, ensuring that all designs align with our marketing strategies and brand identity.

Responsibilities

Create engaging visuals for digital and print marketing (brochures, adverts, flyers, presentations, etc.) Develop and schedule social media content including posts, stories, and reels Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and materials Manage and integrate content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and promotions Work on product photography, editing, and digital artwork when required. Develop and implement creative concepts for branding, marketing materials, and digital platforms. Utilise tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, and CorelDRAW to produce high-quality visuals. Create user interfaces (UI) for websites and applications while ensuring a seamless user experience. Edit videos and photographs to enhance visual storytelling. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems like WordPress.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in the

construction or flooring industry

(this would be a bonus but not essential) Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in branding, digital design, and web design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe After Effects, Figma, Sketch and video editing software. Good knowledge of Meta business suite Familiarity with HTML and CSS is essential; knowledge of JavaScript is a plus. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively. Experience with photography and videography is advantageous. Previous experience managing business social media accounts. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
