Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor and Graphic Designer with a passion for fine diamond jewellery to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, utilising a range of editing software and digital design tools. The ideal applicant will possess a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling skills, and a passion for visual communication.

Duties

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos suitable for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations. Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop engaging visual stories that enhance brand messaging. Incorporate branding elements, graphics, and animations using Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant software. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Enhance video content with colour correction, sound editing, and visual effects to ensure professional quality. Maintain an organised archive of video assets and project files within content management systems such as WordPress or InVision. Stay updated with the latest trends in digital design, video editing techniques, and multimedia tools to continually improve output quality.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for editing and graphic design purposes. Strong knowledge of video editing software and techniques. Experience with branding, web design, UI/UX design principles using Figma or Sketch. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for integrating videos within websites or interactive content. Ability to work with content management systems such as WordPress or other CMS platforms. Skills in photography and digital design to create compelling visual assets. Knowledge of marketing principles to craft videos that effectively promote products or services. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly within a team environment. Experience with InVision or similar prototyping tools is advantageous.
