Universal Display Est 1998 is One of the premier banner, sign, graphic and event solution providers and installers in the Worcester and Worcestershire area, serving clients locally, regionally and nationally - from start-up enterprises, to blue-chip multinationals.

Due to increased orders we at now looking for a additional member of staff to join our small team of graphic designers.

You will have the opportunity to work and develop both new and existing brands, communicating brand messages into a physical space. Our clients require services such as logo design, built up letters and signs, neon signage, vehicle graphics, wayfinding systems, event signs, banners etc. You will need to be up to date with the latest trends in design to keep all proposals fresh and innovative.

This is a crucial role involving the preparation of artwork, and taking order details from our customers and also being able to work on our own internal marketing literature, websites, social media.

The post-holder will have direct access to the customer and will in most cases be the first point of contact. Therefore exceptional customer service skills are essential.

Requirements:

2 years minimum experience in a design role Fully Competent in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Able to generate creative concepts Branding experience Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently and manage projects working at speed with accuracy Meet deadlines Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Occasional flexibility to work paid overtime outside of the core hours. Experience with wordpress would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Create visually appealing designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to meet client needs. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop branding strategies and promotional materials. Design and maintain web graphics, ensuring consistency across platforms. Utilise strong communication skills to present design concepts and gather feedback. Stay updated on design trends and software advancements to enhance project outcomes. Work with our CMS to control jobs from initial enquiry to final production
