An opportunity for the right person has to become available to join our Greenkeeping team. Working as part of a team of 8 over two golf courses, you will play a key role in ensuring the golf courses are maintained to a very high standard ready for our members and visitors to enjoy each day.

Apprenticeships will also be considered!

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Setting up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, indicating OOB, Drop Zones and hazards. To maintain all areas of the golf course including mowing, scarifying, aerating, fertilising and top dressing. To assist in the maintenance of bunkers, course furniture, peripheral areas (Trees & Shrubs), and general presentation of public areas. Prepare machinery ready for use and clean when finished.

Successful Candidate Should Have:

An eye for detail and a commitment to deliver the highest of standards. A flexible approach to work, start times can vary depending on circumstances, this role will also include weekend & Bank Holiday morning work on a rota basis, overtime rate for additional hours. A positive 'can do' attitude and a strong work ethic are essential. Good communication skills with the ability to interact with the team, members and visitors when necessary. The ability to work within the team and also work alone. The right candidate will have some experience in sports / ground care maintenance, although training is available. Salary and responsibilities subject to experience.
Further training and education opportunities will be available to the correct candidate.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
