Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by assisting with food preparation, serving guests, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Prior restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided to support your growth within the team.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation to ensure timely and quality service Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer care Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations Use basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations Support kitchen staff with various tasks, including cleaning and organising workstations Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations Contribute positively to team efforts, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues alike Capable of working all assigned shifts, including those with early start and late finish times.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not mandatory Familiarity with food safety procedures and standards is beneficial Basic maths skills are essential for handling payments accurately Kitchen or culinary experience will be considered an asset Strong time management skills are required to prioritise tasks efficiently Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting and demonstrate excellent organisational skills
