We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 year experience on grill and a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen environment. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant setting and enjoys working as part of a team.

Duties

Prepare and cook various grilled items according to menu specifications and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards, maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Maintain an organised workstation, ensuring all utensils and equipment are clean and ready for use. Help with inventory management by reporting low stock levels of ingredients or supplies.

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary role, particularly in grilling or cooking within a restaurant environment, is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others in the kitchen.
