Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Van Driver to join our team of agency workers. The ideal candidate will have good experience in commercial driving, preferably within a similar role and with strong customer service skills. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within time scales and adhering to deadlines. Deliveries include driving within Central and Greater London and you must therefore be comfortable driving within these areas and be vigilant to driving restrictions.

Responsibilities

Operate 3.5 tonne van (manual only) delivering groceries within Central and Greater London. Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Our client carries out random drug and alcohol testing on all staff

Qualifications

UK Manual licence and ability to safely drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. Excellent communication skills, to liaise with team members and customers effectively.
