JMC Aviation is working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Biggin Hill, looking to recruit a new Ground Support Equipment Supervisor to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Biggin Hill, UK.

Monday to Friday, working 07:00 to 16:00 or 08:00 to 17:00.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to determine work procedures and prepare work schedules to ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner.

Other Duties Involve

- Ensure all ground support equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition
- Ensure all tools are maintained in a serviceable condition
- Operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tooling
- Order parts required for preventive maintenance and major repairs
- Coordinate scheduling of equipment to be repaired
- Coordinate all quality assurance inspections on equipment
- Adjust errors and address complaints
- Ensure ground support equipment repair deadlines are met

In order to be successful in this role the Ground Support Equipment Supervisor will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

- Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be eligible for airside driving permit
- Ground support equipment experience, avionic or vehicle electrical experience is essential
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of operation
- Right to live and work in the UK
