Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Duties

Prepare and level ground for construction by clearing debris and vegetation. Operate hand tools and machinery safely, including compactors and excavators. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other groundwork elements. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any issues or hazards encountered on-site to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation purposes. Awareness of health and safety regulations within the construction industry is desirable.
