Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker/landscaper/ paving specialist to join our team. They will play a crucial role in various construction and landscaping projects, ensuring that all groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices on site.

Duties

Prepare and level ground for construction or landscaping projects. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other groundwork elements. Be able and have experience to install fencing, decking and paving etc Be able and have experience to lay all driveway surfaces Carry out site clearance and maintenance tasks as required. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery relevant to groundwork tasks. Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when required. A good understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry is advantageous. Driving licence preferred but not required Own tools and van preferred but not required Previous experience in groundwork or related fields is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
