Job Summary

As a small tree surgery company we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various groundwork tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role is crucial in supporting our projects and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

Carry out groundwork activities including, hedge cutting, fencing, felling and processing trees, lowering and Chipping brush, excavation and drainage. Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with construction tools and machinery is advantageous. A valid driving licence is beneficial for transportation to various sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is required.
