Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to groundwork and construction, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Carry out groundwork tasks including excavation, drainage, and laying foundations. Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly. Follow instructions from senior staff regarding specific tasks or projects.

Experience

Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with operating construction machinery is advantageous. A valid driving licence is a plus for transportation purposes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.34-21.10 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
