Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping and groundskeeping tasks. This position requires a hands-on approach, utilising both mechanical knowledge and physical stamina to ensure all grounds are kept in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and weeding to enhance the aesthetic appeal of gardens and outdoor areas. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks such as digging, building, and maintaining garden features. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Carry out general groundskeeping duties, including litter picking, grass cutting, and hedge trimming. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs as needed.

Skills

Strong knowledge of groundskeeping practices to maintain high-quality outdoor spaces. Ability to dig, build, and maintain structures effectively. Understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance requirements. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
