The company
Briscoe Construction, a part of Cubby Construction, Carlisle is an established Civil Engineering and Building Company based in Carnforth near Lancaster and operating throughout the North West of England.
We carry out a wide variety of building and civil engineering projects, in the roles of Main and Principal Contractor and have a broad spectrum of clients working on projects ranging from 5,000 to 2million in value. These include clients within the Utilities (Electric, Water & Renewables), Health, MOD, Education, Highways & Infrastructure, Public & Charitable, Commercial & Retail, Industrial, Conservation, Nuclear, Coastal and Residential sectors.
The role
The ideal candidate should preferably have the following: Full driving licence, CPC Licence if possible, CSCS / CPCS / NPORS cards with relevant experience and a good understanding in civil groundworks (including concreting, drainage, road construction and associated works) and in return you will receive good rates of pay, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, regular training.
