Ground Worker
Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Groundworker to join our team in assisting construction projects throughout the country.
Some projects may require additional days on site, and as such accommodation will be paid for and food allowance along with transport will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Concrete finishing: Work involves installing concrete ring beams to a high end finish.
- General groundworks
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in the construction industry.
- Support the team in construction of sports courts.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, following health and safety guidelines
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the construction industry
- Know how to safely operate power tools
- Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow site instructions, project requirements, health and safety guides accurately
Licence/Certification
- Driving Licence (required)
- CSCS card (required)
- Candidate must live within 10 mile radius of Kettering, Northamptonshire.
- Plant machinery licence (not required, good to have)
Job Location: Varies depending on projects throughout the country.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 250-300 per day.
