Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Ground Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining construction sites, ensuring that all groundwork is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and clear construction sites, including excavation, trenching, and grading. Lay foundations, driveways, patios, and other hard landscaping features. Install drainage systems, including pipes, manholes, and stormwater management. Operate heavy machinery such as diggers, loaders, and dumpers. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site. Assist with general site duties as required, including moving materials and site clean-up.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Ground Worker in a construction environment. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints. Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential). Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Valid Driving License.
