Join our dynamic team as a Ground Worker Labourer and be at the forefront of outdoor construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. As a vital team member, you'll assist with site preparation, equipment operation, and general labouring duties that support skilled tradespeople and project managers. Responsibilities

Assist with site setup including clearing debris, digging trenches, and preparing surfaces for construction or planting activities Operate equipment such as bucket trucks and bucket lifts under supervision to facilitate tree care, trimming, or installation tasks Support skilled workers with rigging operations to lift and position materials safely and efficiently Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and general garden upkeep Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for site mapping and data collection when required Maintain safety standards by following protocols during equipment use and site activities Support tree care operations by assisting with trimming, planting, or removal as directed by arborists or landscape professionals

Skills

Growing experience in horticulture or landscaping is highly desirable Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning and planting techniques Ability to operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment safely Basic understanding of rigging procedures for lifting heavy materials or equipment Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping or site analysis is a plus Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or general gardening work Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to land development and environmental care
