Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various groundwork tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and quality, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Duties

Carry out groundwork activities including excavation, drainage, and landscaping. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Assist in the installation of utilities and services as required. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Follow site safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Undertake any other duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundwork or related fields is preferred but not essential. Ability to operate basic construction machinery (e.g., diggers, dumpers) is advantageous. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods. A valid driving licence is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour
