About the role
We're now looking for a Groundworker to join our friendly Responsive team in Manchester to carry out a wide range of remedial works on housing stock within the Pennine region. The right candidate must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of a full range of building craft skills including associated property repair and refurbishment required to meet and to maintain Riverside housing stock to a high standard.
This role will include working with a team as well as lone working to meet our desired deadlines.
Apply your knowledge, skills, and training to complete the repairs assigned to you in a safe, efficient manner. Taking care that they are of high quality, comply with technical specifications and provide a long-lasting solution.
What we're looking for
Essential
Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in an associated building trade.
A full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year.
Have commercial driving experience.
Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer care.
Access to your own tools.
Respiratory Protective Equipment will be provided for this role, so you must be clean shaven on your first day. If there are circumstances where it is not appropriate for an employee to be clean shaven (e.g., medical conditions or religious grounds), the company will ensure that adjustments are in place to accommodate protected characteristics.
Desired
Ideally, you will have previously worked in a social housing environment.
Experience working with Damp & Mould.
Have a NVQ Level 3 in an associated building trade.
