Ground Worker

Where?
Kennington, Oxford
When?
Working hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm
What?
Carrying out a variety of groundworks tasks including drainage, kerbing, concreting, and general site preparation as part of a construction or civil engineering project.
Salary and PAY structure (e.g. PAYE, ir35 Umbrella, Sole Trader, CIS or any other)
160 - 185 per day
Responsibilities:
Excavating and preparing trenches for foundations or utilities
Installing drainage systems, including pipes and manholes
Laying kerbs, edging, and concrete slabs
Pouring and finishing concrete
Backfilling and compacting soil and materials
Operating small plant machinery and hand tools
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed on site
Assisting with other general construction site duties as required
Requirements:
Experience as a Groundworker
Blue CSCS Card NVQ 2 in Civil Engineering or Ground working
Dumper/Roller ticket is desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 160.00-185.00 per day
